As parents of faith, we work to pass on the faith to our children. Jesus says in Luke 8-8 "And some seeds fell on good ground, and when it grew, it produced fruit a hundredfold." Parents have the responsibly to sow the seeds of faith for our children. More>>>

 

Emily Green, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England...From August, 2001 to June, 2002, I was fortunate to have the wonderful experience of being a lay volunteer for the Sisters of the Assumption, in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, England. I lived in a mixed community of Assumption sisters and De La Salle brothers in a council house. I was told that living in community would have a powerful effect on my sense of spirituality and sense of priorities. This proved absolutely true. More>>>

It contains compounds that even American standards would deem decadent. Eva Castilla, Chaparral, New Mexico, 2003-2004 I can’t believe that my year in Chaparral is almost over. Time passes soooo fast sometimes that it is hard to keep track of everything I have lived and experienced here. But, I can tell right now that it has been a very intensive year for me.

When I came to New Mexico, I had no idea about what I was going to be doing. In fact, I was the first volunteer the Sisters had and so, for me, it was exciting to wait for what life was preparing for me…More>>>
